Beinn Eibhinn Terrain Block

Beinn Eibhinn is the 'Merry Hill' or 'Beautiful Hill', the most westerly of the remote Alder group. It is an elegant, tapering ridge that offers arguably the most open views in the central Highlands, looking straight down to Loch Laggan and out to the west coast. Its isolation ensures a quiet, peaceful ascent, far from the crowds of the popular peaks.

About Beinn Eibhinn

Its cheerful name contrasts with the often somber names of Scottish peaks. It lies on the edge of the Ben Alder forest, a traditional sporting estate that has remained largely unchanged for a century. It was once a key vantage point for stalkers spotting deer in the vast corries.
