Beinn Fhada Terrain Block

Beinn Fhada (Ben Attow) is a complex, sprawling mountain in Kintail, distinct from its sharper neighbours like the Five Sisters. Its crowning glory is the broad, flat summit plateau, rimmed by steep crags and distinct northern corries. It feels massive and solid. The 'Hunter's Ridge' (Meall an Fhuarain) provides an adventurous scrambling route to the plateau for the experienced.

About Beinn Fhada

The 'Long Hill' lives up to its name with its substantial length. It was a key barrier in the Kintail landscape, forcing drovers and travellers into the passes. Unlike the famously narrow Kintail ridges, Beinn Fhada offers a unique plateau environment.
