Beinn na Lap Terrain Block

Beinn na Lap is famous as the 'Train Munro', most easily accessed from Corrour Station, the highest and most remote railway station in the UK. It is a straightforward, rounded hill that offers a quick ascent between trains. The views over Rannoch Moor are world-class, showcasing one of Europe's last great wilderness areas.

About Beinn na Lap

Name means 'Mottled Hill', referring to patches of vegetation. Corrour Station was made famous by the film 'Trainspotting' as the gang's ill-fated trip to clear their heads. The area was a private shooting estate before the railway opened it up to walkers.
