Beinn Narnain Terrain Block

Beinn Narnain is one of the Arrochar Alps, a rocky and rugged mountain often climbed alongside The Cobbler. Unlike its smooth-sided neighbours, it is a complex clutter of crags, boulders, and false tops. The 'Spearhead Ridge' offers a direct, scrambling ascent for the brave, while the main path is a steep, relentless staircase of rock. It offers superb views down Loch Long.

About Beinn Narnain

The name is obscure but may mean 'Hill of Notching'. It has been a popular climb for Glasgow workers for over a century due to its accessibility by rail. The 'Narnain Boulders' on the shoulder are a famous resting spot and landmark.
