Beinn Tarsuinn Terrain Block

Beinn Tarsuinn is the 'Transverse Hill' in the Fisherfield 6, a classic ridge peak that bridges the gap between A' Mhaighdean and Mullach Coire Mhic Fhearchair. It features a fascinating 'Tennis Court' flat section on its ridge. Its remoteness ensures that only the committed reach it, usually as part of a multi-day expedition.

About Beinn Tarsuinn

Its name refers to its position cutting across the grain of the land. The 'Tennis Court' is a flat area of turf on the ridge, famously playable (allegedly). It was one of the last areas of Scotland to be mapped in detail due to its inaccessibility.
