Beinn Tulaichean Terrain Block

Beinn Tulaichean is the southern outlier of Cruach Ardrain, often treated merely as a top to reach the main summit. However, it is a fine peak with steep, grassy southern slopes that offer a quick ascent from Inverlochlarig. Its summit is a small perch that looks directly into the heart of the Crianlarich hills, and makes for a pleasant ridge traverse.

About Beinn Tulaichean

Name means 'Hill of the Hillocks'. It lies in the 'Rob Roy' country of Balquhidder. It was a summer grazing ground for the clans, dotted with shieling ruins in the lower glens. Rob Roy MacGregor was buried not far away.
