Ben Lomond Terrain Block

Ben Lomond is the most southerly Munro and one of Scotland's most popular, standing guard over Loch Lomond. It offers a fantastic introduction to hillwalking with stunning views of the loch and islands. The 'Tourist Path' is well-trodden, but the Ptarmigan Ridge offers a rockier, quieter alternative for the adventurous.

About Ben Lomond

Name means 'Beacon Mountain'. As the first Munro seen by many visitors from the south, it has an iconic status. It lies within the Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park and has been a popular climb since the days of Walter Scott.
