Ben Vane Terrain Block

Ben Vane is one of the smallest Munros but punches well above its weight. It is a steep, rugged, and rocky little mountain in the Arrochar Alps. The ascent is relentless, involving rocky steps and false summits. It offers a real feeling of a big mountain despite its modest height, with great views of Loch Lomond.

About Ben Vane

Name means 'Middle Hill'. It is known for its deceptive difficulty. The ruggedness of its schist rock makes it feel like a miniature peak of the northwest. It is a favourite winter climb due to its accessibility.
