Ben Vorlich Terrain Block

Ben Vorlich (Loch Earn) is a popular and prominent Munro on the Highland fault line. It is a straightforward, conical peak that offers huge views over the lowlands to the south and the highlands to the north. It is often the first Munro for many due to its accessibility and clear well-worn path.

About Ben Vorlich

Name means 'Hill of the Bay'. It has a violent history; the Stewarts of Ardvorlich were involved in a bloody feud with the MacGregors, involving a severed head placed on the dining table at nearby Ardvorlich House. It remains one of Scotland's most popular peaks.
