Bidean nam Bian Terrain Block

Bidean nam Bian is the crowning glory of Glencoe, the highest peak in Argyll and the complex parent of the famous 'Three Sisters'. It is a mountain of hidden depths, massive buttresses, and narrow ridges. The summit commands an enviable position, looking down on the ant-like traffic of the A82 and out towards the sea. It guards the famous 'Lost Valley', a hidden hanging glen of immense atmosphere.

About Bidean nam Bian

Name means 'Peak of the Mountains/Pelts'. It is the complex heart of Glencoe. The 'Lost Valley' (Coire Gabhail) hidden in its folds was used by the MacDonalds to hide rustled cattle (and themselves during the massacre).
