Bidein a' Choire Sheasgaich Terrain Block

Bidein a' Choire Sheasgaich is one of Scotland's remotest Munros, hidden deep in the wilderness east of Loch Monar. It is a sharp, arresting peak with dramatic ridges and steep drops. It is almost always climbed with its twin, Lurg Mhòr, forming one of the great expeditions of the Highlands, requiring a long approach.

About Bidein a' Choire Sheasgaich

Name means 'Peak of the Corrie of the Barren Cattle' or perhaps 'Infertile', a common theme in remote areas where grazing was poor. Its isolation has kept it wild. It is a rite of passage for serious Munro baggers.
