Binnein Beag Terrain Block

Binnein Beag is the 'Small Peak' of the Mamores, but it is a perfect miniature mountain. It is a shapely cone hidden in the remote northern side of the range, usually approached from Glen Nevis. It sits by a small lochan, adding to its picturesque quality and offering beautiful reflections on still days.

About Binnein Beag

Despite being 'Small', its isolation gives it grandeur. It sits in the shadow of Ben Nevis. It was a favourite spot for early mapmakers due to its distinct shape, used as a triangulation point for surveys of the area.
