Bruach na Frithe Terrain Block

Bruach na Frithe is the most accessible peak on the main Cuillin ridge of Skye, offering a taste of that magnificent range without the technical difficulties of its neighbours. It is a fine scramble with spectacular views along the jagged spine of the ridge. The summit is airy and exposed, a true mountain top.

About Bruach na Frithe

Name means 'Slope of the Deer Forest'. It is the easiest Cuillin Munro and often the first for those attempting the ridge. The view from the top includes the Inaccessible Pinnacle and the whole sweep of the Black Cuillin.
