Càrn Eige Terrain Block

Ranking as the highest mountain north of the Great Glen, Càrn Eige is a titan of the north. Situated in the splendid isolation of Glen Affric, it is the second most prominent peak in the British Isles after Ben Nevis. Its rocky ridges and steep crags offer a rugged contrast to the rolling hills of the east, and its remote position ensures a feeling of true wilderness.

About Càrn Eige

Often overshadowed by the more famous peaks to the south, Càrn Eige is a true giant. Its name 'File Peak' refers to its sharp, serrated profile. It sits within the former lands of Clan Chisholm.
