Càrn nan Gobhar (Strathfarrar) Terrain Block

This Càrn nan Gobhar is a rounded, stony hill in the beautiful Glen Strathfarrar. It is often the last of the four Munros climbed on the classic circuit. The summit is a broad plateau of moss and stone. Access to the glen is controlled by a gate, adding a sense of exclusivity and time pressure to the day.

Another 'Hill of the Goats', reflecting the common wildlife of the region. The limited access to Glen Strathfarrar has preserved its tranquility, making it one of the most unspoiled glens in the Highlands. The stalker's path up the mountain is a masterpiece of Victorian engineering.
