Druim Shionnach Terrain Block

Druim Shionnach, the 'Ridge of the Fox', is part of the legendary South Glen Shiel Ridge. It is the narrowest section of the ridge, offering delightful scrambling and airy positions. The view down into the remote northern corries is dizzying, while the continuous ridge stretches out invitingly to the west.

About Druim Shionnach

The fox reference might relate to the animal's cunning use of the ridge or its color. Before the road was improved, this ridge was a formidable barrier. Today, it is part of the classic 7-Munro bag, a test of stamina for any hillwalker.
