Fionn Bheinn Terrain Block

Fionn Bheinn stands alone above Achnasheen, a massive white whale of a mountain. 'White Hill' describes its pale grassy slopes which turn golden in autumn. From the road it looks uninspiring, but the northern corrie, Toll Mor, is a hidden gem of steep cliffs and winter climbs. The view from the top is one of the best panoramas of the Torridon giants.

Its solitary position makes it a unique viewpoint. The mountain sits on the watershed of Scotland. Historically, the railway at Achnasheen brought Victorian climbers to its foot. The Toll Mor corrie was a secret spot for early winter pioneers.
