Glas Bheinn Mhòr Terrain Block

Glas Bheinn Mhòr is a shapely peak in the Starav group near Glen Etive. Its name 'Big Grey Hill' belies its sharp ridges and steep drops. It connects the granite giant Ben Starav with the rest of the range. The summit offers a spectacular platform to view the Etive hills and the shimmering length of Loch Etive below.

About Glas Bheinn Mhòr

This mountain lies in Campbell country. The granite gathered here is part of the same intrusion that forms the famous cliffs of Glencoe. Its ridges have been walked by shepherds and climbers for centuries, navigating the steep, slippy grass that characterizes the Etive hills.
