Liathach - Mullach an Rathain Terrain Block

Mullach an Rathain is the western Munro summit of the mighty Liathach ridge. It is the climax of one of Scotland's greatest mountain traverses. The summit is perched at the end of the pinnacled ridge, offering a stunning aerial view down to the village of Torridon and the sea loch. The Northern Pinnacles spur leading off it is a serious scrambling route for the brave.

About Liathach - Mullach an Rathain

Liathach, 'The Grey One', is a fortress of Torridonian sandstone capped with white quartzite. Mullach an Rathain, 'Summit of the Row of Pinnacles', fittingly describes its position. It has been the scene of many epic mountaineering feats and remains a touchstone for Scottish climbing.
