Luinne Bheinn Terrain Block

Luinne Bheinn is a rugged, complex mountain in Knoydart, often serving as the final peak in a long day's walk. It sits inland from Ladhar Bheinn but matches it for roughness. Its summit is a fine vantage point for surveying the tangled landscape of the Rough Bounds. The eastern face drops steeply into the lonely Glen Barrisdale.

About Luinne Bheinn

The 'Hill of Mirage' or 'Hill of Melody' has a poetic name that contrasts with its rough terrain. Folklore suggests the 'melody' might be the wind singing in the crags or the song of the fairies. It is a cornerstone of the Barrisdale estate.
