Meall Corranaich Terrain Block

Meall Corranaich is a steep, grassy mountain in the Ben Lawers range. Its name 'Hill of the Sickle' describes the curved ridge that connects it to the main group. While often overshadowed by Ben Lawers, it offers a fine high-level walk, usually combined with Meall a' Choire Leith. The western slopes are steep and craggy.

About Meall Corranaich

Part of the botanically rich Lawers schist belt. The high pass between it and Ben Lawers has been used for centuries. The mountain's flora is protected, and walkers are encouraged to stay on paths to prevent erosion of the fragile soils.
