Meall Glas Terrain Block

Meall Glas is a mountain of character in the Breadalbane hills. Ascended from Glen Lochay, it presents a steep, grassy challenge leading to a rocky summit. The ridge walk to its neighbour Sgiath Chuil is a classic outing, involving undulating terrain and boggy bealachs. The views towards the Ben More group are particularly fine.

About Meall Glas

The 'Green Hill' lives up to its name with verdant lower slopes, fed by the wet climate of the west. It was traditional grazing land. The summit rocks provide a perch to survey the complex watershed of the Tay and Forth rivers.
