Meall nan Eun Terrain Block

Meall nan Eun is a small but rugged Munro in the Glen Etive hills. It sits on a plateau distinct from its neighbours. The ascent involves navigating steep, craggy ground and fierce slopes. The summit offers a surprisingly open view towards Rannoch Moor and the Black Mount. It is notoriously tricky to descend in mist due to surrounding cliffs.

About Meall nan Eun

The 'Hill of the Birds' is a fitting name for a peak where eagles are often spotted soaring on the thermals from the glen. It is one of the lower Munros but demands respect for its complex topography. It has a reputation as a 'trap' for the unwary navigator.
