Mullach Clach a' Bhlair Terrain Block

Mullach Clach a' Bhlair is a Munro of the Great Moss (Moine Mhor), a vast high-level plateau in the western Cairngorms. From the Glen Feshie side, it presents a steep face, but the summit is a gentle rise on the edge of the plateau. A bulldozed track reaches almost to the top, making for easy access, but the surrounding terrain is wild and featureless.

About Mullach Clach a' Bhlair

The name 'Summit of the Stone of the Plain' refers to the high plateau. The track caused controversy when built but is now a fixture. The mountain overlooks the beautiful pine remnants of Glen Feshie, one of the finest native woodlands in Scotland.
