Seana Bhraigh Terrain Block

Seana Bhraigh is a magnificent, solitary mountain in the remote Inverlael forest. It boasts one of the finest corries in Scotland, the vast amphitheatre of Cadha Dearg, rimmed by sheer cliffs. Reaching it involves a long approach, usually from Inverlael, but the reward is a view of spectacular drama. The Luxe ridge offers a scramble for the adventurous.

About Seana Bhraigh

The 'Old Upper Ground' or 'Old Brae'. Its remoteness has preserved a feeling of pristine wilderness. The cliffs are a haven for eagles. The long approach takes the walker past the remains of old settlements, silent witnesses to the Clearances.
