Sgùrr a' Chaorachain Terrain Block

Sgùrr a' Chaorachain (Achnasheen) is a steep, craggy mountain sitting east of Sgurr Choinnich. It is a Munro of character, with a fine northern corrie. The ridge connecting it to its neighbour offers excellent walking with glorious views. The summit views are expansive, taking in the Monar hills and the northern giants. It is a peak that feels central to the great wild areas of the north, bridging the gap between the Fannichs and the Monar wilderness.

The 'Peak of the Rowans'. It was demoted and re-promoted' (Wait, I might be confusing with Beinn a' Chlaidheimh). No, this is a solid Munro. Its position near the road makes it popular, but the steep ascent ensures it is earned.
