Sgiath Chuil Terrain Block

Sgiath Chuil is a grassy, ridged mountain in Glen Dochart. It is often climbed with Meall Glas. The terrain is a mix of steep grass and rocky outcrops. The summit ridge is surprisingly jagged and interesting. It offers excellent views across the glen to the massive bulk of the Ben More group.

About Sgiath Chuil

The 'Back Wing' describes its shape relative to the glen. It was traditional sheep country. The approach involves crossing the River Dochart, which can be tricky in spate, adding a challenge to this otherwise modest hill.
