Sgurr Dubh Mor Terrain Block

Sgurr Dubh Mor is a true jagged peak of the Black Cuillin on Skye. It is a climber's mountain, requiring a scramble to reach the summit. The rock is rough gabbro, offering incredible friction. It hides behind the main ridge, guarding the famous Dubh Slabs, a continuous rock climb from the valley floor.

About Sgurr Dubh Mor

The 'Big Black Peak' epitomises the Cuillin—dark, sharp, and intimidating. It was a playground for the Victorian pioneers of rock climbing. The Dubh Ridge leading to it is one of the classic long climbs in the UK.
