Geologically, it is part of the Moine supergroup, its rocks recording millions of years of tectonic pressure, now evident in its folded rocks and sharp ridges. Today, it remains a peak of pilgrimage for walkers seeking the ultimate solitude, reachable only by long expeditions that preserve its status as a cornerstone of the Scottish wilderness.
