Sgurr na Banachdaich Terrain Block

Sgurr na Banachdaich is often considered one of the 'easier' Cuillin Munros, but this is relative. It is a complex mountain of ridges and spurs. The summit is the central point of the main ridge and offers arguably the best view of the entire range, looking along the spine of the Black Cuillin in both directions.

About Sgurr na Banachdaich

The 'Smallpox Peak'. The name refers to the pitted, scarred appearance of the rock, resembling the pockmarks of the disease. It is the only Cuillin Munro that can be reached without serious scrambling, though hands are still needed.
