Sgurr na Carnach Terrain Block

Sgurr na Carnach is a steep, rocky peak on the Five Sisters ridge. For years it was demoted to a Top, but regained its Munro status. It sits between Sgurr Fhuaran and Sgurr na Ciste Duibhe. The ascent involves steep rocky steps and a narrow ridge crest, thrilling and airy.

About Sgurr na Carnach

The 'Peak of the Cairn/Stony Place'. Its status has fluctuated, but its character is undeniable. It forms a crucial link in the chain of the Five Sisters, providing continuity to one of Scotland's best ridge walks.
