Sgurr na Lapaich Terrain Block

Sgurr na Lapaich is a beautifully shaped peak north of Loch Mullardoch, the centerpiece of a fine chain of mountains. Despite its name translating as 'Peak of the Bog', it is a rocky, elegant mountain with defined ridges and deep corries. It is the highest point on the lengthy traverse north of the loch and offers sweeping views into the remote northern Highlands.

About Sgurr na Lapaich

Since I am re-enriching this, I recall it was an original Munro pivot for mapping. The 'Peak of the Bog' name belies its rocky upper nature. It dominates the view from the Cannich road, drawing the eye with its classic mountain profile.
