Sgurr nan Clach Geala Terrain Block

Sgurr nan Clach Geala is one of the finest peaks in the Fannichs range, featuring a stunning recurved ridge that encloses a deep eastern corrie. The 'Peak of the White Stones' lives up to its name with quartzite debris scattered across its slopes. The summit provides a spectacular platform for viewing the rest of the ridge. Its precipitous eastern face is a dramatic sight, often holding snow late into the spring, adding an alpine character to this magnificent hill.

Geologically distinct in the range. The eastern face is precipitous and holds snow, a classic winter climbing venue. Its ridge, leading to the Sgurr nan Each, is sharp and elegant, a joy to walk. The white stones that give it its name were traditionally used as boundary markers.
