Stob a' Choire Mheadhoin is the partner to Stob Coire Easain. A simple, broad ridge connects them. It is slightly lower but offers equally good views. The long descent towards Fersit is a gentle end to a big day. The vast open slopes feel remote and spacious, allowing for a relaxed walk where one can enjoy the changing light over the Loch Laggan hills.

About Stob a' Choire Mheadhoin

The 'Peak of the Middle Corrie'. Together with its twin, they stand as the 'Easains', guardians of Loch Treig. The name reflects its position between corries. It was a silent witness to the flooding of the glen for the aluminium works.
