Stob Binnein Terrain Block

Stob Binnein is a magnificent Munro that forms a famous twin-peak silhouette with its neighbour Ben More. Often considered the more elegant of the pair, it is a perfect cone of green rising steeply above the Balquhidder hills. The extensive summit views are some of the finest in the southern Highlands, stretching from the Lawers range to the jagged peaks of Arrochar.

About Stob Binnein

The name translates as 'Conical Peak', a literal description of its shapely form. Unlike the brooding bulk of Ben More, Stob Binnein has a lighter character, though the descent into the deep bealach between them is a serious undertaking.
