The Saddle Terrain Block

The Saddle is one of the finest mountains in Scotland. Its Forcan Ridge is a classic knife-edge scramble, spectacular and exposed. The mountain has twin summits and magnificent corries. The view to Skye is peerless. The scramble along the ridge is exhilarating, with steep drops on both sides, making the eventual arrival at the Trig point a moment of true satisfaction for any hillwalker.

About The Saddle

Named for its saddle-shape between the tops. The Forcan Ridge is the main draw, a test of nerves. It stands in Kintail, a region of rugged beauty. It is a 'Must Do' for any mountaineer.
