Toll Creagach Terrain Block

Toll Creagach is a high, rounded mountain south of Loch Mullardoch. Compared to its jagged neighbour Tom a' Choinich, it is a gentle giant of moss and grass. The summit plateau is vast. It offers a quick descent to the glen. The easy terrain is a welcome relief after the rougher peaks nearby, allowing the walker to stride out and enjoy the vast open spaces of the high plateau.

About Toll Creagach

The 'Rocky Hollow'. It was once a busier place with shielings in the glens. Now a quiet corner of the Highlands. It is often climbed as a partner to Tom a' Choinich. The lower slopes were traditionally used for charcoal burning in the 18th century.
