Tom a' Choinich Terrain Block

Tom a' Choinich is a shapely, rocky peak in Glen Affric. Its ridges are sharp and define the skyline. The view down Loch Affric is one of the classic Scottish vistas. It is a mountain of high quality. The interplay of light on the lochs below and the rocky crests above creates a scene of breathtaking beauty, often cited as one of the finest in the Highlands.

About Tom a' Choinich

The 'Hill of the Moss'. A key peak in the Glen Affric range. It was once part of the vast Chisholm estates. The ridges here offer some of the best high-level walking in the area. The majestic Caledonian pines in the glen below are survivors of the ancient forest.
