Tom Buidhe Terrain Block

Tom Buidhe is the 'Yellow Hill', a flat, grassy dome on the White Mounth plateau. It is the least distinct of the Munros here, essentially a high point on the moor. However, its remoteness gives it a sense of peace. It is often the final ticking point on a long round of the White Mounth, a quiet place where the sky feels huge and the world below seems very far away.

About Tom Buidhe

Its yellow grass gives it the name. It is prime deer country. The table-land here is home to dotterel. Navigation can be impossible in mist due to the lack of features. It remains one of the least visited spots on the plateau.
